Knijn & Damsma is a platform organisation of cleaning companies with a strong local presence, specialised in general and specialist cleaning services. These include services such as facade maintenance, graffiti removal, floor maintenance, and window cleaning.

The organisation focuses on B2B customers in the general business market, such as offices, and medical and educational locations. Also, there are members with a (potentially) strong presence in a niche market, such as holiday parks cleaning services. Knijn & Damsma is currently mainly active in and around North Holland. The organisation stands for reliability, high quality, and a high service level. Within the organisation there is a strong emphasis on the ESG pillars: environmental sustainability, social responsibility and governance.

The companies within our cleaning platform operate independently, but they work together to serve customers as best as possible and make optimal use of economies of scale. HC Partners invests in the growth of Knijn & Damsma through acquisitions of cleaning companies and organic growth, for example by connecting new customers.

Knijn & Damsma’s ambition is to create locally leading brands and ‘get big by staying small’. In the long term, the companies within the platform may be managed from a head office that provides support for back-end processes. Maintaining its own identity, working method and strong local character will remain key.
